Jeff Goldstein LLB BA

Jeff is a highly experienced specialist legal practitioner whose career spans more than 35 years.  His experience includes being a partner in a successful Sydney-based litigation practice and being a member of the Employment Tribunal where he adjudicated on employment law cases.  After leaving the Tribunal Jeff was a specialist employment law barrister for approximately 10 years before he was instrumental in forming the Goldstein Ryder partnership. Jeff has an impressive record of success before both the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court.

He has undertaken innumerable disciplinary investigations, redundancies and restructurings, mediations, and collective bargaining negotiations.  Jeff is committed to using his finely honed advocacy skills, in-depth legal knowledge, and extensive experience to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Jeff is a member of the Canterbury Westland branch of the Law Society and the New Zealand Law Society.

Linda Ryder LLB BA

Linda has practised law in Christchurch since she was admitted to the bar in September 1993.  She has extensive experience assisting both employees and employers to successfully manage their way through difficult employment issues.  Linda has practised exclusively in the employment law field since 2003.

Linda has assisted clients in all areas of employment law practice, including personal grievance claims, conducting disciplinary investigations, redundancy/restructuring proposals, drafting employment agreements (including both individual and multi-employer collective agreements), collective bargaining, and human rights claims.  She has represented clients at mediation, the Employment Relations Authority, and the Employment Court.

Linda brings an objective, pragmatic, problem solving approach to her work.

Linda is a member of the Canterbury Westland branch of the Law Society and the New Zealand Law Society.

Jane Taylor LLB BA

Jane joined Goldstein Ryder in February 2018. She holds a degree in Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Otago. She was admitted to the Bar in October 2002 and has practiced employment law for seven years. She began her legal career with a leading employment law firm in Auckland, followed by work in a busy employment department in the London office of an international law firm.

She has developed a passion for employment law and is looking forward to assisting Linda and Jeff with all employment related matters including personal grievance claims, redundancy/restructuring proposals, disciplinary investigations and more.
